Hi, I am trying to use mmioread to read the audio data of a wav file. I get to the point where I have a character array which is supposed to have the data stored in it. The data does not make a lot of sense to me however. How do I extract the 16 bit words (the audio data) from the char* returned by mmioread Or if anyone has other suggestions on how to extract the 16 data words from a wave file, that would be great too. any help appreciated Jakub
