Thankyou both.
I have decided to try to use
 LRESULT SendMessage(
    HWND hWnd, // handle of destination window
    UINT Msg, // message to send
    WPARAM wParam, // first message parameter
    LPARAM lParam  // second message parameter
   );
But for this I will need to be able to identify the target application
window and get a handle to it;
Any help here?
