A quick search of the help files for MRU turned up exactly one hit: GetViewStateStream() which states: Notes to Implementors: Each shell view should have its own view stream. The Explorer implements an MRU (most recently used) list of view streams that are stored on a per-user basis in the registry. Doesn't sound like you are going to find your 'System Wide MRU list'. Just think of the performance hit such a beast would give to a system.
