Yes, that makes things much clearer.

There is only one combo box that I see in my Windows Explorer.  Because of
the integrate of IE with Windows, much of Windows Explorer's functionality
comes from IE (and vice versa).  When you type a path into that combo box
(assuming we're talking about the same one here), the path is stored in the
following Registry key, as far as I can see:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

Do note, however, that this key also contains the URLs that are typed into
IE as well.
