I already told you in my previous reply - you cannot do what you are asking
for.  Only BCB 6 supports named threads.  Older versions do not support it
at all.  And evenif they did, the name of the thread cannot be retreived
manually by you, via code or otherwise.  It is strictly a debugger feature
that only the debugger itself can utilize.
