Questions on here tend to be more exotic so when you did not say the word "screen" Mr Gonder had fair reason to suspect you were asking about something not so obvious as screen resolution. Many fonts have bits. That is why they call them bitmapped fonts. My printer has a resolution expressed either in bits or in horizontal and vertical DPI. .
