Depends on who you are, and what your level of expertise is as to
whether or not is is a "general" question. To a newbie, they all look
like general questions. And not everyone who posts here knows the
"proper" usage of "resolution". It's used for many things by newbies.
Also realize that for many posters here, English is a second (or
third) language, and they don't always say what they mean, or mean
what they say, or use enough words to describe the problem. To me,
your message fell into that camp (short and stilted). It was only
when you blasted me that I realised American is your native language.
And you are somewhat right, that "changing *screen* resolution" is a
"common" question (though we only get a couple a year), but that
question is usually asked by newbies that think that changing the
resolution is the solution to their form size problems. I usually try
to discourage that.

I don't recall seeing posts from you in the past, so I did not know
you knew what you were talking about (that, coupled with the over
general and brief question). Knowlegable people generally ask more
pointed questions. Newbies also usually use aliases instead of their
real names.

Hmmm.. I'll quote Rodolfo
"If the question is how to change..."

Note the "IF". If your question was succint, he wouldn't need to
guess, would he/we? And, obviously I _did_ understand because my
answer ticked you off. It was to your point, but not the answer you
were looking for.

Yeah, that was a bit of humor. I still think it's the best way to
change it.

Hey, there are newbies here too. I thought you sounded like one.
Sorry.

P.S.
I've been helping people here for about three years now.
If you don't like my answers, there's a thing called a kill filter.
Since I use my real name, you won't accidentally filter someone else.
