You have to use TCP or UDP protocol. I suggest you to use TCP. Every
application will be a Server and Client together. The server will listen all
incoming messages in a specific port. When a specific message is received
then do the job. The client component inside your app will be the one that
will send messages to other applications. Visit www.overbyte.be and have a
look at a great and free internet component suite (ICS).
