I don't know what your app does - if it uses a lot of memory ( heap or memory mapped files or... ) and it accesses this memory randomly and the free physical memory is not enough then this will happen even 10.000 times a second... I would expect your application to get slower beacause of these page faults... It will depend on what other apps are running and how much memory they do consume... and on what OS you are running...
