Look at waveOutGetNumDevs() and waveOutGetDevCaps().  waveOutGetNumDevs()
will return the number of available waveout devices, and then you can loop
through tme using waveOutGetDevCaps() to retreive basic information about
each one, such as its name and version for your display.
