I made
typedef  BOOL ( WINAPI *FTPCOMMAND )( HINTERNET, BOOL, DWORD, LPCTSTR, DWORD
*, HINTERNET * );

Now I am experiencing witha new error:

bool rc;
DWORD drc;
DWORD dwBytesRead;
HINTERNET hResponse;
char    buff[ 2048 ];
...
    rc = FtpCommand( Hconnection, TRUE, FTP_TRANSFER_TYPE_ASCII, "DIR", 0,
&hResponse );
    if ( rc == false )
    {
        error = GetLastError( );
    }
and value of error is 12003

I carefully tested - Hconnection ist correct. I tried instead DIR use LIST .
No change
What is wrong?

Additionally
    InternetGetLastResponseInfo(& drc, buff, &dwBytesRead );
    returns empty buff

I have Windows 2000 and Borland 3.0
