When I started doing C programming long time ago, I got some advice to
read the contents 
of the header files, like "stdio.h", "string.h", "stdlib.h" which would
be like the 
documentation for what the libraries have to offer. This maybe something
you may 
want to do, to get up to scratch to what is available.
