Hi Is there a way to get the vendorID of the CDRom drive? Intel's VendorID is 8068 for example, I want to detect the VendorId of the CDRom currently installed in the system. In the case of video adaptors it returns in the PNPDeviceID from the "EnumDisplayDevices" api function from which I can extract the VendorID. Does any know of something similar for the CDRom and network card. Thanks Marc
