I read somewhere that M$ don't recommend running more than 16 threads per process. Does this still stand up in times where we have P4 desktop computers running at 2Ghz? I wrote a thread pooling class, only to find that theres an API QueueUserWorkItem. I can't seem to find much documentation on setting the default thread pool size, monitoring the pool, etc. just the single function. Any ideas where I can find more on the usage of native thread pooling support of Windows Servers? Tharun.
