Notification at certain point of time

Hi,

how can I have my program get notified at a certain point of time?
Like a virus scanner that should be launched sunday night at 11:00.
I don't want to use SetTimer (or TTimer), since it is probably rather
unprecise. Also the system time might have gotten synchronized to an
external clock in the meantime. So the TTimer interval would not be
correct anymore.
(Perhaps my program should even get notified ten seconds ahead so I
can show a countdown)

Any better method to accomplish this?
Thanks for any idea.

Nick
