This is because of aligning of the variables at 4 byte boundaries.

Try:

#pragma push(pack, 2)        // set to 2 byte alignment
 > typedef struct tag2BITMAPFILEHEADER {
 > ....
#pragma push(pop)            // reset to previous alignment value
