However, I used that book as a reference for many parts of my Graphics-API
programming activity, for a specific period, almost on daily basis, hence I
can assure to you that the topics present in the book are explained well and,
when needed, treated with the proper theory. On the other hand, I never used
ICM and any other kind of color management system, so I never read that
chapter.

Each chapter in the book is organized in two parts: the first part is an
extensive explanation of the subject, the second part is a plethora of
immediate solutions with many (well written) code pieces (although I'm stucked
with the exception handling schemes he uses in almost all snippets present in
the book). The book comes with a CD.
