Hi,

I learned via the cppbuilder.language.cpp newsgroup that chm files are not
natively supported in VCL and that I have to do it manually.
Also, that follow questions should be posted in this group ... 'et voila'.

I also checked out this suggestion :

Which seems about THE solution for my problem.

Still one big burning question :

- Are there systems where html is not supported ?
    - In case yes, which ones ??  Win95 ?  Win98 default installation ??
- How can I easily detect if a system can handle chm files or not ?
   - I would like to use hlp files on systems that do not support chm files.
   - Some sort of dynamic check that determines whethere the hlp or csm file
needs to be used.
   - Example 2 in the hhcode_and_exe BCB code examples (which can be
downloaded http://helpware.net) supposedly has a check but it doesn't work.
     E.g. on my system it says chm is not supported while it definately
works (at least when I double click a chm file) !!  (I run Win98 SE)

Any help is greatly appreciated !!
