Just checking, but does anyone know how library / easy way to use the printer in Windows as a simple line printer using std streams? [i.e. write to printer as if to std::cout] I suspect the GDI model makes this unlikely, but it seems a simple enough request that someone has likely wrapped it into a library over the years. Unfortunately, my Google mining skills are not good enough to wade through the irrelevant links to see if some gold is hidden, so I'm taking a short-cut and asking if anyone here knows the answer <g> -- AlisdairM Team Thai Kingdom
