Apoligies In Advance For the confusing Scope Of this Question.

I am using Borland Free Compiler.
Win32 API. C

Without the use of a database,
i wish to save Mixed data similar to (but not for)
an accounts App.

I want to create some files containing
fielded (Columnar) Data.

I am not sure how to go about this.

One of the things i would like to do is vary the amount of columns in
different files at run time.

Any pointers to a good Example of  handling, delimiting and filing mixed
data would be appreciated .
