Thanks Remy, but that doesn't work... keybd_event() sets the values of GetAsyncKeyState. I read posting WM_KEYUP and keydown messages wouldn't work, but I tried it anyway, and it doesn't work, of course... So I'm really stuck... Thanks for your help. Chris
