If XP, are you using the Fast User Switching feature? If so, then keep in mind that your application could still actually be running when you login to another user, so the shutdown code in the application is not called yet because the application was not actually told to shut down by the OS. Also keep in mind that Builder's VCL currently has no native support for XP at all. Gambit
