Maybe I can add a timer that waits a tenth a second and automatically lifts up the keys, if the user doesn't use my hotkey again for that long, but then this would make the action of the user putting them down again useless if they did it within that period of time... See, the hotkey does something to the clipboard, then initiates a copy/cut/paste. So if the user holds the hotkey, or presses it multiple times, it needs to work multiple times, but if the ALT and/or CTRL keys are raised every time, the user can't just hold down the alt and/or control keys and press the x/c/v keys whenever they want to paste, they have to press the alt/ctrl keys back down again! And like I said, if I put them back down again, many times the user has already lifted the keys up, which is very bad. Is there any way I can send the program a (generic) message, telling it that these keys were pressed(when they actually weren't)? Like, simulate windows posting the message, basically, emulating windows telling the program the keys were pressed? I've tried it but never gotten it to work (yet).
