I have an application that uses a dialog box with an edit control to display text read from a file header. The edit control is created from a resource wherein I use an edittext style control. Whenever the control first displays the text, it always shows it in reverse video. Is there any way to keep the reverse video from displaying? All I really want is to view the file header, not edit it, so the reverse video is an annoyance. The edit control still displays in reverse video even when I make it a read only style. Maybe another control is better for the purpose of displaying static text? Thanks. Bill
