Then try using WideString instead of AnsiString for the message portion as
well:

    ...
    WideString wMsg = MemoMessage->Text;

    int iReturn = NetMessageBufferSend(..., (LPBYTE)wMsg.c_bstr(),
(wMsg.Length()+1)*sizeof(wchar_t));
