Hi!
You can also do a google search on "com port enumerators"
There are quite a few, and everyone seems to handle them a bit differently.
problem lies in searching the registry between different versions of
windows.
I have an enumerator, if you want it.

Have Fun,
Stephan

Hi everybody

I'm trying to get a list of all the serial ports that are on a machine ie
COM1, COM2 etc. I found an API function called GetSerialPortsList, this
returns a char pointer with all available comm ports in it, However I get
Unresolved external symbol error. Does anyone know how to get this running
or do they know another method for finding the available commports on a
system?

Thanks in advance

Andrew
