I pasted you code into Poppad1. After adjusting the name of the edit windows
handler variable it worked fine. See if you have a valid handle.

BTW, I'm not sure I understand why you're using as many buffers as you do.
If you allocate one buffer with the size of the file, you can us it to set
the text of the edit control. If it was me, I would make the pFileBuffer of
type char *. Is this a Unicode application? Is that why you need to make an
edit buffer twice the size of the file buffer?
