Hi, what is the best way to identify registered applications on a PC ? I like to start Acrobat Reader and MS Word from my program, so I need to know whether it is installaed, and , if yes, where the application is located. In the registry I found in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes keys for all registered file types (like ".doc", ".pdf" etc.) but these links don't contain the path name of the application, and it seems, the format of this entries differs between the windows versions. What is the easiest way to solve this ? Thanks for the help ! Matthias
