if he used CreateProcess() he could compare the process IDs in his window
enumeration (using GetWindowThreadProcessId() for the currently enumerated
window). That could be a solution. But then I saw that he is opening a
document. Is this possible with CreateProcess(), assuming you don't know the
associated application?

Since ShellExecuteEx returns the process handle, is there a way to get
process IDs from process handles?
