Ok what i am doing is sending GPS data out to an IP address/port to a program called DialOut/IP this then relays the data to a software comm port, then the likes of Autoroute or Route 66 maping software can track the information on the screen.

The problem im having only occours when i close the connection from the mapping software side, this causes my program to crash and also i cannot reconnect untill i have restarted the program.

I am only using a Server Socket in this program.
