Hi,

Don't know if this is exactly the right list to ask that question.
I've written an MDI application with BCB3, at home with windows95
it runs perfectly, at my office with windows98, all is ok too.

But on a friend's computer with windows 98,
sometimes, not always, when he closes a child window he gets the message
:

"Access violation at address 00422033 in module 'TEXEDIT.EXE'. Read
address FFFFFFFF"

and when he clicks the OK button, he gets another message meaning :

"Texedit caused an error in USER.EXE, the program will be stopped"

but most of the time that second message doesn't show, and the program
keeps running.

Obviously, when I use the debugger on my computer, everything seems ok,
and I can't see any instruction liable to have that consequence (like
accessing a desallocated pointer)

Any suggestion would be welcome
