What I see as immoral is attempting to prevent other people from producing a competing product simply by saying that they can't. I agree that they shouldn't 'repackage' code but if they are prepared to take the time and trouble to RE and then redevelop it I say they have the right to profit from that effort. I'll finish with this final thought:Where would we all be if IBM had been able to prevent the BIOS [heck PC] cloners from marketing and using their product?
