Andrue, May be legal but it ain't moral. We program in lockouts and false trails because of these laws. It costs us tons of money to protect our programs from thieves. And reverse engineering is, in my opinion, theft. That cost is passed on to the companies who buy our equipment who then pass it onto to, "you guessed it," you. So the next time you buy food at the store and complain about the cost, look in the mirror to see who you should be complaining to. Note: I do not have links but try to find "Yamato vs. Ishida: Double shift, Triple shift, Software concept." (or was it the other way around?) and "Hayssen vs. Kawashima." -- Phil Robertson BSIT phil4114@email.uophx.edu Work Phil.Robertson@hayssen.com Home PhilR80245@aol.com ----------------------------------------------------------- "Andrue Cope" <not.a.valid@email.address.sorry> wrote in message news:VA.00001aee.0a849b11@email.address.sorry... > Remy Lebeau (TeamB), > > > When it comes to the law, don't make assumptions. > > > > Absolutely.
