I stepped through the code. FillTree() function is called.

SHGetMalloc() and EnumObjects() functions are successfully called in 
FillTree().

The code only does not enter the while loop:

while (lpeidl->Next(1, &lpidlCurrent, &ulFetched) == S_OK) {
