Yes, as remy has pointed out the GINA is responsible for the interactive logon process and password arbitration. It's too big a topic to cover here but i have written a series for the Borland Developers Journal that covers this - this last article will be out this month or next and covers exactly this i.e. password grabbing of winlogon password. It is possible to do this with a GINA stub without too much trouble, If you wish to pursue a private discussion about this (as it is a bit off topic) post back and I'll send you an e-mail.
