Good point.

But maybe better it is to just use an absolute path for the
filename.

  AnsiString FileName = ExtractFilePath (ParamStr(0)) +  "help\\help.pdf";

  ShellExecute(0, "open", FileName.c_str(), NULL, NULL, SW_SHOWNORMAL)
