Hi Bob,

Thanks for your reply.

You are right. There is 112 bytes of difference between "sizeof(
CurrentEventLogRecord )" and "dwBytesNeeded".

Using the line:

    sizeof( CurrentEventLogRecord ) + 112;

or better:

    EVENTLOGRECORD * pCurrentEventLogRecord = new EVENTLOGRECORD[
dwBytesNeeded ];

correct the problem.
