Intercepting minimize - XP's Virtual Desktop Manager powertoy problem

Hi,

I came across a problem today that seems to effect all Borland based
applications - even a brand new project and the IDE itself.

Using the 'Virtual Desktop Manager' powertoy that Microsoft released for
Windows XP, when you switch to another of the 4 virtual desktops, it seems
to minimise the application you hadn't specifically opened in that desktop
(when 'shared desktops' is enabled).

Rather than the app being minimised to the taskbar, it's done as if it were
a child window - being put over by (above) the start button. It can then be
a nightmare to restore that application as it seems to get confused.

I've tried loads of different things to get it to work properly but I just
can't seem to find the right commands / messages.

I guess it's somehow related to the Borland's hidden window.

So would anyone happen to know a way to get it to behave? Or does anyone
feel like a challenge?!

This problem is visible in BCB6 and BCB2006.

Thanks in advance,

Richard.
