Hello, I'm currently using the TTrayIcon (samples palette) which internally calls Shell_NotifyIcon function. Sometimes the call of Shell_NotifyIcon fails which causes an EOutOfRessources Exception to be thrown. Could anybody give me an explanation why this call might fail? I've also noticed this problem in some other VCL-applications as well. Apparently this problem occurs usually during system-start when Windows is under heavy load while starting all programs registered under start-up or run (Registry). Thanks... David
