One of the great things about the VCL is the ability to easily make a menu item not visible. Is there a trick to doing this using the windows API? There seems to be no way to do it really except to actually remove the item to make it invisible and add it back to make it visible which is difficult to manage. Is this what the VCL is doing behind the scenes? Dave
