Help with SAFEARRAY

I need to call this function GetSymbols( ) but I do not know how to declare 
the SAFEARRAY. Does anyone know how this works? I was told on another list 
SAFEARRAY is an API but SAFEARRAY is not listed in my Win32 API bible.


void GetSymbols(
                SAFEARRAY(BSTR)* Symbols,
                SAFEARRAY(long)* WordenNumbers);
