You can't because the user could always boot in safe mode
and alter the registry so that your application isn't loaded
or even worse, remove your application all together.

True, this would require some advanced user techniques but
once one person figured it out, every one would know how to
do it in less than a day - maybe two.

IMO, by restricting use as you have proposed, the more likely
someone will find a way to defeat it. I would suggest a nag
screen that keeps popping up but still permits the user to do
what he/she needs to do. The trick will be to nag as much as
possible with out agravating someone into cracking it.
