WM_PRINT does not work properly

This is my paintbox's OnPaint:

void __fastcall TForm1::PaintBox1Paint(TObject *Sender)
{
  PaintBox1->Canvas->MoveTo(10,10);
  PaintBox1->Canvas->LineTo(100,100);
  Button2->Perform(WM_PRINT, (WPARAM)PaintBox1->Canvas->Handle, (LPARAM)PRF_NONCLIENT|PRF_CLIENT|PRF_ERASEBKGND);
}

The line gets drawn, the button only if it's visible. Why? I
didn't set PRF_CHECKVISIBLE, so the button should be rendered,
no matter if it is visible or not, right?

System is Win NT, BCB 6 Ent.
