Hi all, firstly happy new year.... You know on an NTFS drive you can set file and path permissions, and this kind of facility will not exists on FAT32. Question, what about registry permissions. That is, does the APIs that exists on Win 2000 (any), and XP Pro, does it support access control and permissions coding even if the drive is FAT32. (Do not have a fat32 to test). Lastly, thanks for all the assistance I have gotten in the past year. Colin B Maharaj Trinidad, WI.
