First, I'm using Turbopower's ShellShock 1.02. I did an app to monitor file rename/delete/create (a 'normal' win32 app - with BCB 5 update pack 1), and it works fine. But when i've put the same code in a service app the only message i've got is WM_ACTIVATEAPP. I've tried placing the component on the separate form, the results were the same (or the lack of results to be exact). The SHChangeNotifyRegister (in the shellshock component) returns a valid handle. I've also tried to send WM_COPYDATA between the service and another app and it worked perfectly.
