You cannot link a DLL into an EXE. What you can do for all items that come in both DLL and static library form is to static link so that the DLL is not needed. When linked with the dynamic linked library or DLL the program is said to be dynamic linked. When linked with a static library, a library which provides code that will be included as part of your executable, the program is said to be static linked. Start by doing this: Under Options|Project Click on the Linker tab Uncheck Use dynamic RTL Click on the Packages tab Uncheck Build with runtime packages Select File|Save All Select Project|Build That should make your program static linked, at least as far as the compiler's runtime library is concerned. If you have someone else's DLL that you are also using, eliminating the need for it would involve finding a static library equivalent to that other DLL. . In the Builder's "Project Options" there is a tab > "Linker" from where one can select if one wants to > include "RTL" inside of exe or not. How can I do the > same thing with normal dll?
