I always thought OutputDebugString did nothing in release builds but I have since discovered that my strings are being captured by debugview.exe even with a release build. Looking at MSDN it says OutputDebugString does nothing if there is no 'application debugger' or 'system debugger'. I cannot find definitions for these two terms. Does anyone know ? -- --- Malcolm Smith MJ Freelancing http://www.mjfreelancing.com Borland Technology Partner
