WIA Scanner Driver Form Size

I'm using WIA to access a scanner.
It works fine.

However, when the driver interface form comes up, it is quite small.
In use, I need to run a Preview and then select the exact portion of the
area that I wish to scan. This will always be a small portion of the entire
scan area.
In order to select the region to scan with any accuracy, I need to increase
the size of the form - preferably to maximize it to the entire screen.
However, the form does not have a "maximize" capability and so I need to
stretch the form by grabbing its corners and pulling them out to the corners
of the screen. This adds considerable time and tedium to the process.

Is there any way I can make this driver interface form come up maximized?
Or at least to have a "maximize" option?

I am using XP Pro.
It is a flatbed scanner using the standard driver.
Thanks,
   John
