Stray taskbar buttons on older Windows versions

I'm testing my application on a friend's old laptop, running Windows 98. It works to a degree (see my other post for a different problem) but, when the user closes the application, its taskbar button is not removed. Either it just stays the same, or the icon and text are erased leaving a blank grey button on the taskbar. I remember when I used to use Windows 98, I had a copy of C++ Builder 3 off the front of a magazine and all the programs I wrote had the same problem. I just ignored it then, since the work was just for my personal edification, but I want to sell this product, so I'd like it to work as expected, and kill the taskbar button. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Buster

I'm going to work on it for a while before (possibly) posting.

Old bug. It's a problem with Windows itself, not Borland's code.

Yup, because it was a problem in Windows itself, not Builder.

You'll have to remove the taskbar button manually before fully closing your
application. Try using the following call during shutdown:
ShowWindow(Application->Handle, SW_HIDE);
