I am sorry because empty message before this one.
Can you give me some example for direct accessing to flopy disc (under win98 and winXP)?
 I was tryin with something like "createfile("\\\\.\\A"..." but that wasn't work at all.

That will only work under NT/2K/XP.  Under 9x/Me, you have to access the
device indirectly, using the vmm32.vxd device driver.

There is information about this topic at MSDN, just search for
"DeviceIoControl" or vmm32"
